About Me
What do you get when you cross six feet, eight inches of movie star good looks, razor-sharp wit, and a total lack of humility?
You get Veritas Coaching's Ryan Vingris...
I entered the multisport world in 2000 when I joined up with Miami University's cycling team. In 2002 I did my first sprint triathlon while working for Wheeliefun and never looked back.
I began studying multisport training and coaching under the tutelage of Bob Duncan
and in 2007 I became a USAT certified coach.
In 2008 I worked with the triathlon clubs at Miami University and Purdue University.
Working with the Universities was unique in that the broad range of skill levels
gave me the opportunity to work with students new to the sport as well as
athletes who had been racing and training competitively for years.
Furthermore, the demanding schedules of the students allowed me to fully appreciate
the training/life balance that clients must endure. Along with working with University
students, I have coached athletes both local and remote who raced
competitively in sprint, Olympic, half-iron and iron distance events.
I am currently a Cat 2 cyclist on the Project Velo racing team,
developing the software for a proprietary bike fitting system, and am
working towards my USCF cycling coaching certification.
